Learning and Teaching Resource Area
As GCU moves towards more flexible provision for both undergraduate
and postgraduate students, e-learning is fast becoming an integral
part of learning and teaching at GCU. GCU
aims to support academic staff who wish to enhance their learning
and teaching approaches through the appropriate and educationally
effective implementation of e-learning.
E-learning can support and enhance the educational experience for
on and off-campus students by enabling them to collaborate with
their peers in online activities, gain prompt feedback on their
progress from tutors via email and online discussions, test their
knowledge and skills in quizzes and tests with immediate responses,
access course notes and materials quickly and easily, and source
a wide variety of rich resources in their subject area.
